WordPress: Best Internet Marketer’s Platform

WordPress is a state-of-the-art publishing platform with a focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability. WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time.
This is true, but it is so much more. WordPress is also a foundation for easily putting up marketing information, creating lead generating content, and displaying revenue generating links – easily and without cost.
Creating a WordPress Site Is Easy
The first reason for WordPress being one of the most popular platforms for internet marketers is the ease of creating a website. An internet marketer can literally put a dozen sites up in a day (if a system like Auto Content Cash is used) or create a masterful affiliate or review site in a day.
Creating the WordPress site basically entails a few standard steps. It requires getting your domain, pointing it to your hosting company, using a WordPress installer from your hosting company (Hostmonster is the easiest and best to use for WordPress, in my opinion), and then setting-up the settings, functionality, and style from within the administrative back-end of the site. If you are new to creating websites or new to WordPress, I would suggest getting The WordPress Classroom.
Customizing A WordPress Site Is Easy
Once the site is created, you are able to then choose from thousands of free themes and free plug-ins. This enables you to customize the site’s look and feel, and the site’s functionality with extreme ease. There are also many premium Wordpress themes and plug-ins that require a reasonable investment. For example, this site uses the free WP-Fishy theme (you can see credits at the bottom of my site) and about a half dozen free plug-ins, but it also uses the My Review Plug-in (see review here) and Auto Content Cash (see review here) which are plug-ins that I paid for and can now use for as many sites as I wish.
Getting Visitors With WordPress
Almost as important as creating a platform for making money is getting visitors to go to whichever platform is chosen. Without the platform you will never have a chance of making money and without visitors, you will also come out empty handed.
WordPress immediately gives you a fighting chance with a very search engine friendly platform and many traffic generating features. This can get pretty technical, but Wordpress has plug-ins that can be used to enhance SEO efforts which makes life much easier for the internet marketer.
For example, as of this post, my site BestQuickWeightLossDiets.com is on the first page of Google for terms such as “quick weight loss”, “fast weight loss”, “quick diets”, and many more. This site was created in October of 2009 with about four months of me doing nothing with it. Weight loss is a very competitive market to break and it is proof that WordPress is great for internet marketing.

Monetizing A Site With WordPress Is Easy
After a site is created and after the site is getting visitors, it will be important for the internet marketer to properly monetize the site. You’re doing the work of providing information that people are looking for, and your time is valuable, so you need to make sure that your sites are worth your time (notice I put sites in plural — don’t ever focus on just one site).
WordPress also makes it easy to monetize your sites with PPC ads, affiliate ads, or lead capture forms. Yes, again, there are plug-ins. Just make sure you pick the good plug-ins and that the ads are relevant.
